The Awesome 80’s Prom [Friday-]
Looking for an interactive theatrical experience celebrating the most rad decade ever? Put on your parachute pants and head to the Midland Community Theatre’s “The Awesome 80’s Prom”! Characters from your favorite ’80s movies are at the Senior Prom. The Football Team Captain, the Exchange Student, the Geek, and the Head Cheerleader are all competing for Prom King and Queen. Magician Drew Thomas from America’s Got Talent [Saturday]
Is a magic show more your cup of tea? And even better yet, how about a free magic show. Saturday night at 7:30pm, the Chap Center hosts entertainer and illusionist Drew Thomas. He appeared as a finalist on America’s Got Talent and relies on his arsenal of spray paint, metal, gears, wood, power tools and an occasional motorcycle to make believers out of skeptics.
