April has finally arrived and with it comes some incredible things to do this Saturday in Midland!
U2 Live In Concert
U2 will be performing a live concert from the roof of the 52 story Energy Towers in Midland. For best viewing, you need to be parked at least a mile away so you don’t crane your neck too much. For best listening, you will need to rent a helicopter. They will be playing all of their hits from the 80s and a few songs that are more recent that most won’t recognize other than as “that song on my iPhone that I’m pretty sure I never bought”. Tom Brady’s Superbowl Jersey [Saturday and Sunday]
If you fancy yourself more of a sports fan, Tom Brady’s Superbowl Jersey will be making an appearance at the Horseshoe on Saturday and Sunday. The Jersey will be signing autographs but has asked that no pictures be taken during this visit. It’s actually the jersey’s second time in Midland since the Superbowl. “Tales of Tilikum” Swimming Pool Party [Sunday]
Finally, if you want to see what the COM has to offer, come out Sunday for their “Tales of Tilikum” swimming pool party. Splash around with your friends and listen to behind the scenes stories of Sea World’s beginnings. Fun for the entire family! All participants will be asked to sign some sort of legal waiver before getting in the pool. www.comaquatics.com
